AI consulting and implementation that gets work done.
Work directly with Canvo to turn a recurring operational problem into a working system. We map the decisions, connect your existing tools and deliver a defined first workflow with testing and handover.
A system that fits the work.
AI implementation means putting models, business rules and integrations into a process your team can operate. The useful result is completed work: an eligible enquiry answered, a validated order allocated or a finished job ready to invoice. Exceptions retain a responsible owner.
What changes when the work gets complicated?
An enquiry needs several teams
- What arrives
- A customer email mixes a product question with a delivery request.
- What is checked
- Current product facts, location details and which commitments may be made.
- What happens next
- Answer supported questions, collect missing details and assign the delivery decision with context.
- What finishes the work
- A useful response and an owned next step, with no lost handoff.
A purchase order uses unfamiliar codes
- What arrives
- A customer sends a PDF order with its own item references.
- What is checked
- Account mappings, pack sizes, duplicate POs, availability and credit rules.
- What happens next
- Create eligible order lines and allocation tasks; hold ambiguous matches for clarification.
- What finishes the work
- Prepared fulfilment work with unresolved lines separated and explained.
Finished work has not reached finance
- What arrives
- A technician completes a job but the billing record is incomplete.
- What is checked
- Agreed scope, completion evidence, PO reference and required approval.
- What happens next
- Collect the missing evidence and create the invoice-ready record when requirements are met.
- What finishes the work
- A billable job record or a specific missing item with an owner.
A clear implementation brief
Inputs, business rules, permitted actions, exception ownership and acceptance checks. A baseline makes the improvement testable.
A connected production workflow
The required integrations, validation, action history and recovery paths, tested against normal work and awkward cases.
An operating handover
Agreed workflow definitions, code, access and operating notes, with responsibilities for third-party tools and ongoing support made clear.
How the work moves through the system
Observe the work
Follow a real input to its finished result. Count handling time and recurring corrections.
Set the boundary
Choose the first outcome, required data and actions the business authorises.
Build and connect
Combine existing software, exact rules and AI where variable inputs require it.
Test and accept
Check normal cases, exceptions, duplicate events and recovery before agreeing acceptance.
Operate and measure
Hand over the workflow and compare completed work with the starting baseline.
Choose the smallest system that solves the whole problem.
Some problems need configuration; others need custom rules across several tools. The diagnostic identifies that boundary before implementation.
| The work | Likely starting point | What must be checked |
|---|---|---|
| A standard feature already exists | Configure the current software | It covers the actual rules and permissions |
| Stable rules cross several tools | Integration and deterministic code | Record identity, ordering and recovery |
| Inputs contain variable language | AI within a controlled workflow | Source evidence and valid action boundaries |
Use what already works
Check existing product features, integrations and data access before recommending a new component.
Define what happens when data is wrong
An uncertain extraction or stale stock feed needs a controlled response, not a confident guess.
Measure the work that changes.
A successful test run is only one check. Measure the operating outcome over comparable work.
Hours, exceptions and finished results
Include review and rework. Separate released staff capacity from spending that can actually be removed.
Evidence from our own operation
G3 is Canvo founder George Ding’s retail and venue business. Its catalogue, availability and customer systems provide implementation evidence, without claiming a universal saving.
Questions worth asking
Is this consulting or implementation?
Both. Start with a free workflow triage. The paid diagnostic defines whether a build is worthwhile and what it should deliver; implementation then connects, tests and hands over the agreed workflow.
Can you work with a small team or outside Melbourne?
Yes. Fit depends on recurring work, operational complexity and value, rather than a staff-count threshold. Canvo is based in Melbourne and serves Australian businesses, with access and delivery arrangements agreed during scoping.
What does an implementation cost?
The diagnostic is A$950 ex GST, credited to implementation under the agreed scope. A tightly scoped first production workflow starts at A$4,900 ex GST. Wider systems are scoped in stages according to integrations, data condition and the acceptance checks required.
What support is included?
Implementation includes 12 months from acceptance for agreed workflow defects and minor compatibility changes within existing integrations. No Canvo subscription is required. Optional proactive care starts from A$490/month ex GST with separately agreed scope; covered repairs do not require that plan. Software, API, model and hosting costs are separate. The proposal records coverage and responsibilities.
How long will delivery take?
The delivery plan is agreed once the first workflow, interfaces, approval rules and acceptance cases are understood. Account access, source-data cleanup, vendor restrictions and timely decisions from your team affect the schedule. The proposal should separate build milestones from dependencies your team or another supplier must complete; a small demo does not establish a production delivery date.
What will you need from our team?
Nominate a process owner who can explain the rules and resolve exceptions. Bring sanitised examples of normal work and difficult cases, the systems involved and the result that proves completion. We then agree authorised access, who reviews working versions and who accepts the finished workflow. Your team’s review and training time belongs in the delivery plan.
Bring one process. We’ll map the next step.
Start with the input, the result your team needs and an exception that keeps coming back. Estimate the value, then check the assumptions with George.
